My Journey

My name is Sarah and I am an Organizational Leadership major recently graduated from Arizona State University. I live in Virginia and I work for Starbucks as a shift supervisor.  I attended ASU through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP). I am very grateful to my organization for providing this opportunity and taking an interest in the continued education of their partners. My goal is to find a great organization to learn and grow with. Ultimately, I hope to become a successful leader and project manager.

About Me

I share a family dog named Ella and I have a cat named James T. Kirk that fill my evenings with lots of cuddles and laughs. I enjoy board gaming, painting miniatures, hiking with my weekly hiking group, going on adventures, gardening, and checking out breweries. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, and currently have 117 book titles in my Audible library. My favorite genres are fantasy and science fiction. When I am not doing school work or slinging coffee at Starbucks, I like to spend a lot of time socially with my friends and family. One of my favorite things to do is go out for good sushi and good conversation. I identify as an extrovert and love to chat with old friends or meet new people! Organizational leadership has given me many opportunities to meet peers, professionals, and like-minded individuals, which I think is great!
